I have a 1.1.3 OTB 16GB iPhone activated, jailbroken, and unlocked with ziPhone 2.0 (Used mac terminal). Worked perfectly.

Phone still has BL 4.6

So do I still need to install AppSupport or iWorld to use this phone in other countries when I travel, or do 1.1.3 unlocked phones via this method not need that?

Countries of interest include: Canada, UK, France, Italy, Denmark, etc...

I want a phone that will work WHEREVER I travel.

Well Most of those countries you are talking about should be automagically supported by the iPhone. iWorld IS NOT compatible with 1.1.3 so if you do have troubles you will have to do the appsupport thing. Good luck.

You haven't never had to worry about traveling with the phone. You have always been able to use it in all countries. Only thing what happened in 1.1.2, was that iphone didn't support any other sim cards than the countries where it was sold at that time.
So relax and enjoy your traveling.

If I travel to France, for example, and buy a prepaid SIM card from Vodafone or something, can I just pop it into my phone and be good to go?

No, Iworld doesnt work with the Hexs in 1.1.3

You'll need to download the AppSupport Dynamic Library and upload it to your iphone Via an Iphone File Browser (Such as IphoneBrowser) (google 'Manzana Iphonebrowser').

I don't think you need iWorld (or similar) with 1.1.3.
I had sms/phone crash and number recognition-problem here in australia with 1.1.2 and prepaid australian vodafone sim.

--> upgraded (restored) to 1.1.3, used ziPhone 2.0 and everything worked fine without iWorld (or similar).

yeah im in australia also and have a OTB 1.1.3 unlocked with ziphone and running smoothly

yea...looks like ziphone does something with 1.1.3, brazil is also confirmed to be working without iworld.

In Venezuela I'm using AppSupport; however, I'm using ot because of the Caller ID issue no because the phone and SMS apps where failing.
