Exclamation [1.1.3 OTB] Ziphone unlock, but cannot restore to factory? (error 1604) URGENT

I play around with my new 16gb and try out ziphone..it works fine until i found out that i couldnt get the bsd working so i decided to restore it.

However, after 8 hours of reading in and out, and doing this and that...I have came to the stage that my iphone remains at the recovery or DFU stage (actually there is a pic of the connect to itune logo).

No matter how i turn it off, or try to use ziphone to get back to normal.. it doesnt do it.

I have try reinstall itunes, doesn't work either.

Try use 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 ipsw file ...all return back the same error...

Now im very stuck...my iphone kept itself at recovery stage, and restart itself over and over agian...

I know my iphone isn't to the bricking point as itune still manage to find it...

I really need people to help me out on this...

Ok. I had iphone 1.1.2 OTB, downgraded to 1.1.1, jailbraked, octoprep and stuff... then 1.1.2 again and been like that for quite some time untill the geoshot unlock, so 1.1.2 unlocked, then upgraded to 1.1.3, did not upgrade the installer so i got this main script error thing... so what i did was used ziphone refurbish crap, which erased the bootloader but got an error before it deleted the 1.1.3. So i entered DFU mode, quit ziphone, restarted itunes and restored to 1.1.2, then the steps above. Try this.

    Try downgrading to 1.0.2
    I heard that sometimes works.......
If you successfully downgrade then restore/update back to 1.1.3

Not sure if this works as i luckily haven't had this happen to me but for some reason 1.0.2 sometimes allows you to downgrade while other firmwares don't.

Do you have response from your touch screen, is it normal or very slow, how about IMEI and ICCID ?

Hey yuhackman...greatful that you drop by..

Well after i unlock the phone using ziphone..the phones shows the right imei and iccid i think...

but now...coz the phone is in cycle's of recovery mode / DFU by forcing it through ziphone (the spot where i got the white screen at)..i cannot get it through the restore to pass that...

so at this time...i cannot double check if the imei or iccid is correct, last time i have the phone in good condition...the phone act as it should for the touch screen

Errors i got are 1604, 1, 5....reinstall itunes doesnt help..

Will look it to it .... Error 1 generaly means that you can restore your iPhone for whatever reason (usual error trying to RESTORE to 1.1.3 via lower versions of iTunes, DFU Mode solved that),

    Error 1604 follow this:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=307007

    Error 5,6 :
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=307120

Unfortunately nothing usefull, maybe you should try to (somethimes when baseband is somehow corrupted iPhone get very, very slow) hold "sleep" Button longer then usual (few minutes) and it will power off, or try combination of sleep/home buttons .....

    iTunes see your iPhone ?

    Try this :

    Download DFU - www.send$pace.com/file/93fx93 (change $ to s)
    Extract DFU folder to C:/
Go to the start menu and click Run, and type the following:
    c:/dfu/dfu iBSS.m68ap.RELEASE.dfu
Now hit OK, this will force your iphone into DFU mode. Now it should have a white screen.

Before you HIT OK plug your USB cable to your computer, this will hopefully start iTunes, and it will detect iPhone in recovery mode and you shold be able to SHIF+RESTORE to 1.1.3 (wild guess, but ....)

Try to use iNdependence. Google search it.

Activate, Jailbreak and Unlock 1.1.4 is possible now!

    Ziphon still sleeping...

Feb. 27/08 - And finally, iNdependence 1.4 beta 5 with full support for the 1.1.4 firmware (including SIM unlock)
