[1.1.3 OTB] Unlocking it without Ziphone ?
Hi there peoples
I will recieve my iPhone in the mailbox in the next few days so i was wondering..
I have read that a few people have had problems with Ziphone unlocks, so is there any guides to unlocking my phone without this program? I do not want to downgrade my bootloader and i am very afraid of using Ziphone if it can downgrade it even if i tell it not to
So please someone point me to a guide of manual iphone unlock :)

You can't go wrong with it. I used the win version on several iphones without a glitch. I've preferred to end up the unlock process with a 1.1.2 phone instead of finally do a soft-upgrade to 1.1.3.
One last tip. In one occasion ( I started with a 1.1.3 OOB) I did not have signal at the end of the process. All I had to do is a "reset all setting" in the setting-general-reset menu.
Hope it will help you,
Pakal

Don't worry about it.
Believe it or not, ZiPhone is the easiest way to unlock your phone. If you saw the old methods... man... you would be pretty much shocked!!
Just use ZiPhone. Read CAREFULLY the instructions provided and go ahead!
Except from the bootloader downgrading part, if anything goes wrong, you can simply deep restore it (put it on DFU mode and restore on iTunes) and start from scratch with ZiPhone.
Good luck!
Apple sucks.
Microsoft rules.
TurboSIM-like methods? No way.
- Unlocked Week 47 1.1.3 iPhone, baseband 04.04.05_G.
- Bought in Minneapolis, MN;
- Currently on TIM carrier.
I'm not here to find help. I'm here to help others and give back what I've learned from Hackint0sh.
