I am getting the same exact issue. It isnt that big of a deal to me personally, but of course I would like to see it work. I believe I saw a fix for it somewhere.
Also, I used the java version of the jailbreak and it worked fine.

found it.
add surrealnetworks.com/repo to your sources, they will have their own folder under categories, and the fix is there.

sounds like you jailbroke the phone but have not run the unlocker. Have you.

I had that error, when I was on 1.1.1, I used the gunlock from i.unlock.no, and said NO SERVICE, after that I install oktoprep -- update to 1.1.2 and works.

is there noob guide how to do this?
there is an utility called sendmodem
copy it to the /usr/bin folder on the phone and in terminal(you can install it via installer) run these commands:
chmod +x /usr/bin/sendmodem
sendmodem "AT+XSIMSTATE=1"

My OTB 1.1.3 still does not get signal. Strange part is that after first unlock (and soft upgrade to 1.1.3) everything worked fine. After reboot I have had no signal. I have redone the process in many ways with no luck.
Any ideas?
