[1.1.3 OTB] Need some Advice on how to proceed (1.1.1, no signal after reboot)
I picked up a phone a few days ago that was 1.1.3 OTB. I followed the instructions on iClarified, and was able to sucessfully unlock. The problem was that I was getting no signal.
So I messed around, and have found out over the course of about 10 tries that when I turn off my phone completely (red slider), the phone will not get back on Tmobile. Then what I need to do is use any of the various 1.1.2/1.1.3 unlockers again, and then use the signal fix app again, and then everything works fine. It has worked without fail no matter what repository I use.
The thing is, I don't want to be on a trip with no access to wifi, and for some reason have to reboot my phone and then have no phone. I also am afraid of the files that I need being removed from the repository and then being stuck.
So I need to decide what to do from here. Should I start the whole process all over again, upgrade, downgrade, jailbreak, etc, etc. Should I be trying an unlock from 1.1.1? Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
Also, if there was a way I could store the files on my iphone and be able to redo the operation offline with just the phone if I needed to, I would not be so concerned with this issue.
Thank you for any help or guidance you can provide.
I am also confused as to if I move to 1.1.2, how would I do that, being that I am an original 1.1.3 who dowgraded to 1.1.1. I can seem to decide which guide to follow, I am thinking maybe moving to 1.1.2 will fix my issue.
