Default (1.1.3 OTB) iPhone Will not jailbreak for some reason! on 1.1.1

Ok so I just unlocked a 16GB iPhone flawlessly.

I start on the second one that I have.

I downgrade twice to 1.1.1 Boot From Recovery mode and do the

    *#301# and contacts prefs: jailbreakme.com

It usually takes a few seconds for the iPhone to reboot but for some reason it did not.

When that happens I usually run the jailbreakme.com again but that didn't work.

I restarted the phone and then tried the i.unlock.no jailbreak and it did not work either. The iPhone has been sitting here for 5 minutes on 1.1.1, no reboot, nactivation.

Just the damn "Incorrect Sim" Message

What is the problem here? Am I doing anything wrong? I mean I just succesfully unlocked a sealed OTB 1.1.3 16GB iPhone 45 mins ago!!

how exactly do we know when we are in DFU mode or Recovery mode?? and when we do get into the DFU mode we just shift+restore 1.1.1 and then shift+restore 1.1.1 again, like as soon the first restore is done?

    Easy solution...

leave the iphone connected to the computer with the itunes pgm running and be sure that iTunes found your iPhone while you are doing the jailbreak.

I know it is strange, but it works 100%

I had to re-install iTunes and that did it.

Actually i never close iTunes but this time I did.

So I think that was the problem.

    THanks!

Problem is sometimes iTunes needs to recognize the phone before it will crash/jailbreak properly. Iam guessing this time iTunes finally did and thats why it worked.
