[1.1.3 OTB] geohot unlock NEEDS REPAIR
Hi have an 1.1.3 OTB and tried to unlock it by the geohot methode.
First of all i tried do downgrade to 1.0.2 with itunes 7.5 like geo wrote. Since this wasnt workin tried 1.1.1 which also wasnt workin so i had do to it like this :
1.1.3 > 1.1.2 > 1.1.1
Now i ran the commands in the instructions over putty, in the progress wifi got stuck and after a reboot it says "No Wifi". So i tried the terminal with the result "16 ressource busy".
I repeated the hole up&downgrading process till i got an "Iphone needs Repair" error on the Phone and an "Sim card cant be used" on itunes.
I looked trough every thread dealing with this or anything close and i tried everything described, like differnet itunes version, DFU mode ....
Most off the Tips go for an upgrade to 1.1.3 which iam not able to make (1406 i think)
Is there any way i can get it workin again or is it just a brick?

Use itunes 7.6 restore back to 1.1.3 and then downgrade to 1.1.1 (twice) between each restore use ibrickr to boot the phone after the first try the screen will turn green and you will restore to 1.1.1 the second time and then boot using ibrickr again and this time you should be able to jailbreak and then follow tut again and should be good..

lighter: I have the same problem, 1.1.3 restore just doesn't help in this case. It still says "Repair needed"

then the only thing I can think of is the com board switch trick... switch com boards with another iphone that has been jailbroken and has terminal installer run all the scripts and get the baseband back and then switch it back to the broken iphone and jailbreak...

this method requires you to take apart 2 iphones ...

I also have the same problem. Just can't get a restore which repairs the baseband. This being a 1.1.2 OTB which I upgraded to 1.1.3 after losing wifi in a failed attempt at software unlock. Now stuck with a 1.1.3 iPhone with no baseband. Have tried using both iTunes 7.5 and 7.6 but get the (1012) error message.
There must be some way of fixing this without using the 'comm board trick' which requires taking two iPhones apart.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllp!
Thanks in advance guys.
