Question [1.1.3 OTB] Check serial number to confirm

    Hello all !

With my experience, 1.1.3OTB is known at the new serial number: 8n80nxxxxxx

3 first: 8n8 maybe indentified for product made in 2008.
2 next: 0x maybe indentified for the week of 2008 count from 1 to n.
    6 last: I dont care

Cos I met here many of them with that kind of serial when I crap it out of box: have the original fw 1.1.3 and bb 4.03.

Correct me if im wrong. And verify that all new phones have that kind of serial are 1.1.3OTB.

    Thanks and BR

Sorry to burst your bubbles guys but i just got an iphone today week 51 and f@#$ me lord ol mighty it was a 1.1.3OTB. FW 04.03.13.

I also had the whole theory about the iphone gonig up to 52 and being a 1.1.2 but i guess i was wrong. I guess serial numbers dont tell us s@#$ no more. But i do agree with the fact that any serial numbers that has 8n80nxxxx is 1.1.3 for sure cause i have seen a lot of those lately.

Anyway keep it up with research guys.

I know someone with a 8n801 with 1.1.2. Also know someone with 03 and it has 1.1.3. So it's somewhere in the early thats for sure.

Iphornicator, I have a feeling your phone is actually 1.1.2, but upgraded to 1.1.3. 1.1.3 was announced in the beginning of the 3rd week of January. It is impossible that it came from the factory, week 51, with 1.1.3. Someone could have bought it and had 1.1.3!

maybe some guys in the Apple factory tested it with 1.1.3 then he didnt know how to down it all to 1.1.2 again so that maybe the only answer

I received three week 51 phones yesterday. All from Apple Store and all still in the shrinkwrap. All of them were 1.1.3 OTB!

This can only mean that Apple has started to open phones in stock, upgrade them, an "shrinkwrap" them again...
