Default [1.1.3 OOB] Full of questions, Lack of answers.

    Hi Guys!
First of all, I'd like to thank all of the developers for their hard work and dedication in order to make all of these things happen.

Now to a couple of questions I have.

I've saved up some money, and I'm planning on buying an iPhone (Now that there is an unlock)

However, I have a few consirnes.
I've yet to find 1.1.3 OOB activations. Am I missing something? I've used the search thingy multiple times.

Unlocking: Can anybody confirm that it works with the 1.1.3 OOB?
[jailbreaking, as far as I'm aware of, it's still in the developing for the 1.1.3 OOB?]

I've downloaded the geohot unlock pack, but the command thingy is very new to me. I've been a windows user all of my life, which made me a lazy GUI-bastard.
What should I do when I eventually get the phone?

One thing, 16GB unlock. It's the same firmware so it makes it possible, right?

    Thanks in advance

    Sebastian - Sweden

Yes you can unlock 1.1.3 OOB phones. But what you do is downgrade them to 1.1.1 and then Jailbreak them, so basically you Jailbreak the 1.1.1 firmware.

After that you can unlock the baseband, either at 1.1.1 or 1.1.3 because it survives the update up to 1.1.3. Thing is, you will not have the 1.1.3 baseband but the 1.1.2 one (the gunlock downgrades it) so google maps won't work, however sms and calling and edge will work.

About the 16GB Phone. I see no reason why it shouldn't as long as it is BL 4.6 but I haven't read anyone who have done it (probably cause they are so new).

got a 1.1.2 OOB BL 4.6 iPhone @ 1.1.3 with everything working with Telia.

Another thing: check out www.iClarified.com for tutorials.

    Thanks man!

    I'm such a dumb ass. I found a tutorial - right here.

Though, there's isn't stated whether or not YouTube works. I doubt there are complications.
