i have a problem with the new official dev team release version 2 My phone won't reboot at the last stage after writting image completed ,following the guide on hackthatphone.com i did this upgrade freshely with a DFU restore first, my phone is a 1.1.2 otb BL 4.6 so i DFU restored to 1.1.1 jailbreak via http://jailbreakme.com > install ok to prep> update to 1.1.2 > jailbreak 1.1.2 via windows.bat and ticked the box "install SSH". After it is jailbroken I updated the installer verison to 3.0b10.b and installed bsd subsystem 2.0 then perform the the The Official 1.1.3 Upgrader version 2 1.1.3-2 via installer , clicked yes when ask to use hacktivation as i am not on a legit contract, everthings went ok copy data to image,writting image etc even though every process of upgrade went ok but it hang and won't reboot at the last stage with a black screen with the services bar on the top so i manually rebooted the phone and when it turns on it is jailbroken 1.1.3 but the sources in installer are all gone ? how come ? seems like a bad jailbreak attempt because on the tutorial it says it will reboot automcatilly but mine didn;t. and on the guide it is not clear that at which stage u should install SSH and bsd subsystem.

what apps needs to be installed prior to the The Official 1.1.3 Upgrader version 2 1.1.3-2 via installer?

1. installer version 3.0b10 CONFIRMED

2. bsd subsystem 2.0?? or no need??

3. install SSH via installer or through windows.bat during 1.1.2-jailbreak.zip??? accourding to the offical dev team upgrade via installer tutorial at hackthaphone.com..this image (http://www.hackthatphone.com/gif2/113-73.gif) shows no SSH icon, so it is assumed I dun need to tick the box " install SSH" during 112 jailbreak on windows.bat?? or no need to install SSH before upgrade?

4. I must perform low disk space fix prior to updrage? cuz i've already did a fresh restore

i've done the upgrade 3 times every time with a fresh DFU restore and it just won't reboot correctly as it shouldand i had to reboot maumally everytime althougth after manual reboot i've jailbreaked 1.1.3, also the the pre loaded sources in installer are all gone after upgrade except AppTapp Official sources

I used the Offical Dev Team Jailbreak from the installer on the iphone and everything works. Used locate me in installer to get google maps to work.

Calls: YES SMS: YES Wi-Fi: YES
EDGE: YES Youtube: YES Safari: Yes

It also kept all my settings and passwords, the ONLY thing is you lose about a 1/3 of your 3rd party apps.

How long it takes for upgrade? What BL you have?

Does 1.1.3-2 stuck in bootloader after hard-reset?

It seems to be working fine for me as well but my "others" in itunes is 222mb. Any idea where the firmware image is to delete it? i only see "1.1.3 soft upg. cleaner" in installer. will this work?

Does that 1.1.3-2 fix the size of / partition?

hey dude, did u have the Official 1.1.3 upgrader 1.1.3-1 installed before?
what are the differences between the old and this new release?
is the problem with the partition size ok now (300mb)? ringtones working?
files are on ROOT or MOBILE folder?
sync ok or did u have to patch it?

OK - All of the below were started with a JB 1.1.2 sw/firmware... To go to 1.1.3 update - all of these were restored to 1.1.1, upgraded to 1.1.2 (JB/AnySim) and then SW upgraded to 1.1.3....

First - the original Dev team manual install (WinSCP/install.sh in term). Did about 3 times to 2 different iPhones (1-AT&T and one T-Mobile). All had the dreaded hard reset (pwr/home bottons) throwning them into "restore in iTunes" problem....

Second - about two times (both iPhones) - the original Dev team "installer". Same methodology, same hard reset problem...

Third - about 3 times on one iPhone and twice on the other, Nate True's iBricker install. Elegant, simple and let's you know what was happening. BUT - the passwords needed the patch, iTunes didn't work a couple of times and whatever (including YouTube once?).. Nope - I wanted the best of the two releases - or was going to drop back five and punt to 1.1.2

FINALLY!!! - I used the new 1.1.3-2 release earlier today.. It went GREAT! Everything works (but MAPS needs a push (it's firmware) - so I use LocateMe to "prime the pump"..)..)

This evening - I think they improved the 1.1.3-2 installer from earlier today(?!?), as I just finished it on my second phone, and the interface, installer dialogs were OUTSTANDING.

This is the installer I would recommend - no question.. In short.... I tried all three "installations" of the previous versions numerous times on two different iPhones (Dev Team manual, dev team "installer" and Nate's iBricker)...

The fourth installation - the new 1.1.3-2 kicks a$$...
