    Default 1.1.3 jailbreak bug ? Email account passwords are not saved !

    Hi,

    I just upgraded from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 and it works fine with my NextSim, but now if I add email accounts their passwords are not remembered (!). This leads to errors every time you check your email.

    Could it be that iPhone stores encrypted information (such as passwords) using a special process which gets broken by the iBrickr 1.1.3 ?

    Well the passwords are never saved even if you update or restore the iphone.

    The problem is that the passwords are not saved in settings even if I added them after I updated ! The problem is real.

    Hi,

    It seems like sleepers.net is not reachable right now, in order to find that fix. Is there any repository having this utility for fixing the email account password problem ?

    The repository is probably overloaded right now, give it some time. The fix worked perfectly for me.

    This is what I got from the fixmail.sh found at sleepers.net (BigBoss) repo:

    #!/bin/sh
    cd /var/root
    /bin/chmod -R og+rw *
