I think Im not quite sure after reading.
Does it mean that it will flash the new baseband to a 1.1.3jb without the need of downgrading, itunes upgrade, then downgrade and upgrade with devteam jb?

What exactly does the new baseband bring?

why? because its not in nice package to run from installer? this method is _SAME_ as offical IPSF without nice package....

allway run over terminal and not over SSH!

anyway people with problems (add 1 to rsa...), there is typo in shell script at start 1st line should be "#!/bin/sh"

also signal.app wont work if you will have pin active.

also save whole folder (or at least seczone) after patch... and with save i mean save it on computer/usb key... NOT on phone

otherwise everything is working for me without any issues with signal.app&plist, properly patched lockdown and nice package would be i guess better, but seriously DONT BE SPOILED, be happy that we got this orrr.... WAIT since someone will make that for you eventualy anyway! this is pretty much unlock method forever for old bootloader so be happy and if you cant follow simple instruction then i guess this is not method for you

Yeah, SoLor, it's all about packaging and a nice tutorial for a user-friendly upgrade. For one, it's still not clear how you make signal.app run automatically on restart or where/how you get/make lockdown properly patched... A bit confusing....

Awesome I've got a day I'll give this a shot. Great work geo thank you very much for everything you've done. If you're reading this thread and you don't realize why this is so awesome I suggest you look into it because hopefully this should mean never waiting for anysim again.

Stupid question... I unloked my phone with IPSF a long time ago. Didn't know about seczone backup then - and lost it.
If, one day, that might get a problem: What would happen if I restored the seczone from another phone? Would that work or would that give for example two phones with the same IMEI?
I know that's not directly related to this thread, but as I have access to another phone that is not yet 'IPSF Style' unlocked...

My understanding is that, no, the seczone is specific to each phone so replacing the seczone from another phone would not work. However, there is a chance that you might have a backup of your seczone in a cache file that IPSF generated when you ran it unless you've done a full restore of your iPhone after you ran IPSF. Check the below page for more details.

    no offence to anyone but

all must be reminded that these are hacks we are doing and with that I would not expect nice pretty looking packages, i'm much comfortable with command line tools, also this is very new and if you are not very computer savy ,expect a weeks time when this gets refined and then use it

this is better than anysim merely bcoz it is able to withstands upgrades which saves a lot of work everytime a new baseband is out. pls dont criticize this effort merely bcoz it doesnt looks good or it has some hassels with it, if u feel so, you can always use any older firmwares which have no problems at all!
