I dont get it...can you use anySim to unlock any bootloader 3.9 iphone? I am not sure what this accomplishes?

You can unlock anything but the bootloader 4.6 from my understanding already...software unlock that is..and 4.6 is only hardware unlock.

Can you please clarify for us idiots?

Every restart? Wow.
I rather unlock every NEW baseband than worry about the phone rebooting while I'm out, and lose all communications.

If I got it right, the lockdownd is always dependent on the baseband, with the 1.1.3 jb we are still using the 1.1.2 patched lockdownd. They recommend to use the stock lockdownd for people that can activate normally with itunes.

this is more of a "true" unlock... this unlock is restore and (hopefully) upgrade resistant, where as with anySIM, the unlock disappears when you restore/upgrade...

This is better than anysim, because this is IPSF style. Since ipsf survive from upgrade, we hope that this can survive upgrade too..

Bootloader 4.6 still cant unlock, but you can downgrade them with hardware..

http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=25185 Page 28 or so. There is a Signal.app and a plist to run it on every restart. It works but I wonder if this is only related to the wrong lockdownd being used or if we will have to run this forever.

anySIM unlock does not disappear after a restore..just upgrade.

So, the IPSF works but the anySim 1.1.3 from Zibri does not correct?
