[1.1.3] IPSF Error: launch_msg(): Socket is not connected
Hi there people. I am in serious trouble with mi iPhone... Yesterday nigth i have an 1.1.3 Dev Team Jailbreaked phone with BB version of 1.1.2.
I read that beacause i have an IPSF phone i could update the BB to the 1.1.3 version... so i did a restore to 1.1.3 to get my BB upgraded.
Then i downgraded to 1.1.1, then upgraded to 1.1.2 and finally i did the Devteam softupgrade to 1.1.3.
Now i cant get signal.... I know that i have to run some minicom commands but the command that unloads the CommCenter always fails "Error: launch_msg(): Socket is not connected". Then sometimes it gives me an error while using minicom :"open_port: Unable to open /dev/tty.baseband - : Resource busy". And somtimes it lets me run the minicoms commands and the response of this commands are OK(the responses that it should be). But when i try to launch the CommCenter I get the same socket error related.
In the Preferences-General-About menu o get a correct IMEI, ICCD and baseband version 04.03.13_G.... But I dont get the BL version.... the row related to the BL version doesnt appear... On FW 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 also I dont get the BL version...
The last thing.... i dont have a valid AT/T SIM.... I am in Spain and I have a Movistar SIM card.
Please, Please, could somone help me with this issue?
Thanks a lot.

I have the same problem. But, if I run the Signal.app (via Springboard), it works quite often, so for the moment, I can live with that.

I have the same problem. Just a simple "launchctl list" produces the same error. I searched all day yesterday, but no solution found yet.

Try setup minicom to communicate with tty.debug INSTEAD of tty.baseband. This way you will avoid having to load and unload the comm center and then you can execute the necessary AT commands.
Let me know if this helps.

Thanks everybody for your aswers.
sirdir: Your solution works for me!!!! Thanks a lot. I dont know how, but when i run the comands throught ssh they dont work but when i run Signalapp it works very well.
Another thing that is getting me crazy is the WIFI. I always get the message "unable to join the network...", i click on OK and the WIFI is connected to the network but connection only last a few seconds, then it get disconnected. So I need to be very quick if I want to ssh or scp some file.
I have read other threads and nothing helps me. I also have tried to Reset network settings, and to reset all setiings.
Any idea on this issue?
Thanks a lot.
