Am I the only one? I mean whats the deal with all the people who can't follow the instructions?
I started with a 1.1.2 unlocked with anysim. I used ibrickr and the whole process took about 30 mins, maybe less. All I did was follow the instructions and everything worked according to plan.
First thing I did after the jailbreak was reinstalling SSH and BSD because I thought I had too but I think I didnt even have to do this. After I installed SSH I had no "openSSH" Icon. So I tried to SSH into my phone with WinSCP and it worked perfectly. Also, in installer I could delete my previous apps except summerboard but who cares I was only using this app to have more than 1 page. I deleted the 300mb file with WinSCP and it worked. Btw, the jailbreak WAS SUPPOSED to wipe your 3rd party applications.
My network settings were resetted but I didnt even have to enter my wep key for my wireless network, I just had to select it.
iTunes previews, mail, ringtones(custom added with iTunes prior to update), music etc. Everything worked like before. the only thing not working is google map locate me and hybrid/traffic and that requires the new baseband.
Edit: Maps works perfectly now! No more problems!
AND A BIG NOTE: NOT ALL APPS WILL WORK SINCE THEY ARE NOT UPDATED TO WORK WITH THE NEW 1.1.3 FIRMWARE WHICH RUNS APP ON ANOTHER DIRECTORY THEN ROOT. I still managed to install and run a couple of them.
