Well like I said if there is anyone that knows how to modify any of these files and give it a try it would be amazing because I seriously do believe this is the jailbreak in the flesh....

Listen guys the dev team has done a lot and they have their reasons for not releasing it whether it be because of money or other gains...
Lets just try to figure this out ourselves....

I understand your frustration but the DEV Team is withholding the unlock / jailbreak process until after the release of the SDK and you should do the same, if you find your way, do NOT post anything that will jeopardize the next unlocking App. Apple is closely monitoring all forums and will continue the 'CAT AND MOUSE GAME" so please be quiet
    and discreet.

I totally understand what the major concern is... the truth of the matter is that... at the end of the day... Apple will patch and we will have to go back to the drawing board... but like I said I understand where the dev team and you are coming from...

anyone with bootloader 3.9 willing to give this a go?? You have the possibility to downgrade unlike us 4.6 ;(

I think using 1.1.2 install iPhoneHome, installer and xlaunch to /Widgets and symlinking that to the media folder so the apps won't get deleted on upgrade,
Upgrade to 1.1.3 when it boots to springboard double tap to open xlaunch and open installer and install SSH

obviously set iPhoneHome to launch Xlaunch

How can U get to 1.1.3 springboard? I read that people who have 3.9bl are upgrading to 1.1.3 just to play with applications on springboard and stuff, but when u reboot phone it goes to activation screen, how is that done???

I updated to 1.1.3 but i was right away a activation screen, no 1.1.3 springboard for me, so i just downgrade it to 1.1.2

you can try the jailbreak, but the whole point of them not releasing it is so that when the sdk comes around and there is a new firmware update, we still have a way to jailbreak the next firmware as apple wont know how it was jailbroken
that way we have the sdk apps and also have the jailbroken iphone

Hey guess what??? read my post which says ... i believe this is what the devteam used... I know its done.. I'm trying to figure out how it was done... man.. you people jump!!! your telling me to read... why don't you actually try reading first as well.>!!!

ps personally I don't care for the SDK... apple will patch whatever we do.. it will always be a cat and mouse regardless of how long we wait.. simple.... so its gonna delay it by a month... 2 months.... 6 months.... big deal.. at the end of the day we will be back to the drawing board...
