Default [1.1.3] DevTeam Jailbreak Failed on Mac

    Ok,
used the iClarified Tutorial for MAC to try the 1.1.3 DEV JB.
All went superb, unless iPhone reported something like "Space not sufficient. Please delete music or photos."
Then Terminal reported SSH disconnected, phone rebooted, but got stuck with Apple Logo, nothing more happened.
Managed to down to 1.1.1, jailbreak, oktoprep, up to 1.1.2 again and everything works, also the turbosim obviously.
BUT. What went wrong? Why was there not enough free space on my phone, when there were several GB free?

I had the same problem. After the reboot wifi did not work (could get no IP even with reset network settings). I restored to 1.1.2 and activated/JB. I will wait until all those bugs are cleaned out... Horrible!

    Good luck next time

Try ibrickr 113 method - this is the best for now!

after 5 or 6 minutes with the apple logo i "already" put it into DFU and started all over, the tutorial on iclarified said the phone would just "reboot", not to be stuck with the logo for a quite long time!

I decided to use the DEV method coz there was obviously "just" the sync issue which seemed solved at the point where I started. NATEs method showed too much other issues, which I wouldnt want to face!

The answer is quite simple really. I went through the same thing only with way slower WIFI speed than any of you.

Reason you got this error was because you either had previously installed additional applications on the phone and it was jammed up or you had songs, videos, pictures etc. that take up space. I had the same error. The only way you can make sure you won't get any errors is to go through everything one more time.

    1. Go back to 1.1.1
    2. Jailbreak
    3. Oktoprer
    4. Restore to 1.1.2
    5. Jailbreak and install SSH
    6. Install BSD
    7. Jailbreak to 1.1.3

All nice and clean. I've been working on this whole procedure for 5 hours now. I can say I've become a pro . Went through a lot of errors, freezes etc. but now i'm finally getting to it. Just a few more minutes and i'll be done with the 1.1.3 Jailbreak.

    Cheers

    and did it work?
my phone is clean now, 1.1.2 running, turbosim working, no music, movies or photos on it, bsd and ssh installed. but I am really considering NOT to try it again, donīt wanna do all that crap over again if it fails once more!
