Do I click 'Restore' on iTunes even though I had started with a jailbroken phone running 1.1.3?
Or should I do something else?
Please help!

I just updated from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 via Installer through the iCarified source folder.
The first 2 times the install didn't complete fully and I had to reset my phone. After the first reset I was still on 1.1.2. After the second attempt and reset I was in 1.1.3.
Because of Edge problems with my maps (a pre-existing problem which was always before resolved by a reset) I tried doing a hard reset (push and hold the top and the home buttons until the Apple logo appears). This time I got the "Connect to Itunes" graphic as well. When I would connect I would get an error in iTunes that said:
"Could not connect to the iPod Software Update Server"
I was sort of stuck with the graphic. I read a post that said that iBrickr could fix this and, yes, indeed was able to resolve my problem by connecting to my dock and then clicking the "Reboot iPhone" icon which appeared in iBrickkr.
Since then I have successfully been able to run the 1.1.3 jailbreak/software update via Installer, but I still have this same 'reset' problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Ryan
P.S. it also appears that now my phone does not ring when I receive a call.. only vibrates.. AND .. I just realized that when I place a call I can't hear anything through the speaker!!!

My response is for the Connect to iTunes portion of the thread, your speaker problem sounds like a crappy 1.1.3 install and you should redo everything.
now.
I have a 1.1.3 with 1.1.3 baseband / AT&T unlocked / legit / jailbroken / dev team / with the virgin 1.1.3 activation.
I also have the hard reset issue you have described.
you just launch iBrickr and pop it out of restore mode.
once your out just use your phone normally and it will autoactivate after ibricker pops it out.
I also have this randomly happen if iBricker is open and then i launch iTunes, but normally... if I have the AT&T logo in my carrier, and then I plug it in and launch iTunes, it works perfectly... I just have to avoid hard resetting my phone when I am not near a PC.

Try the new Jailbreak Installer v2!
Yesterday silently the Official Upgrade 1.1.3 via Installer was updated to Version 2. It is called 1.1.3-2 now (version info).
So for me it works perfect! No reboot bug anymore. No issues like having problems with Edge, Wifi or such things.
This update just kicks ass!
