A patched lockdownd would be even better than a script to reacquire signal!
We need a 1.1.3 lockdownd after updating the baseband, so I am wondering if this is a patched 1.1.3 lockdownd...

And one last question... Upgrading to 1.1.3 via iTunes on a 3.9BL phone does not change the bootloader, right? It would be too risky for Apple to update the BL as if something goes wrong in the process you have a REAL brick, but I wanted to confirm this with someone that has done the upgrade via iTunes...

IPSF works great for me! I have restarted and I do not have to type those commands in and the phone and everything still works!

Is it reboot or restart?
Restart no need to type those.
Reboot you need to type

I've just updated 1.1.3 with soft update (iBrickr). How can I reinstall 1.1.3 via iTunes?Should I downgrade to 1.1.2 and connect iTunes for 1.1.3 update?

If I can help somehow let me know, but I'm rubbish with it overall. Cheers.

1. Turn off Wi-Fi
2. Reboot
3. Confirm that your locate feature works (without running Navizon first)
Thanks...
Yes this has nothing to do with navizon, never installed or launched it. This uses google as it's the real baseband.

@slimnickyy I know google maps works with you because you updated your baseband.
My post/question was in response to jumphopspin, who claimed that he got google location to work without updating his baseband. I thought that was not possible, so I wanted to know if he could do it with WiFi off and without running Navizon.
By the way, can you confirm that you still have BL 3.9?

Be grateful for a suggestion. I too had a IPSF unlock originally from 1.0.2. I upgraded from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 today using the jailbreak. I then tried to do a full 1.1.3 upgrade using iTunes (to update the baseband) then downgraded to 1.1.1, re-jailbreak and then reapply the 1.1.3 jailbreak.
My unlock no longer seems to be working. I've tried lots of options including downgrading the baseband and revirginizing. Finally I'm back to a full jailbroken 1.1.3 (baseband 04.03.13_G).
When I try the commands in this thread, the minicom commands cause problems:
AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000"
I get ERROR instead of OK
and
AT+CLCK="PN",2 press enter
+CLCK: 1 (instead of 0)
Have I damaged my IPSF unlock? Can I reinstate the IPSF unlock.
Right now the iPhone is operating as an iPod Touch. Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks
