    Default [1.1.3] Anysim 1.3 or ZiPhone 2.3

    Hello,
I've read lots of tutorials, but I cannot find a simple answer: Which is better for unlocking 1.1.3 BL3.9, AnySIM 1.3 or ZiPhone 2.3?
Some people say to use ZiPhone to activaje/jailbreak, and then use AnySIM, while others to use ZiPhone for everything. What are the advantages/disadvantages?

    Thanks

The same developer worked on ZiPhone and the AnySIM 1.3 update. I would assume that the unlocks are similar. I used Anysim 1.3, mainly because the feature in ZiPhone was unavailable at that time.

Well ziphone uses IPSF and i didnīt know that, so i forgot to get my original seczone file before i restored. Im not happy with that because i now canīt reverse the unlock and i hope i donīt have to in the future.

Ziphone uses Anysim style unlock not IPSF. Zibri mentioned it on his blog in one of the comments section.

I dfu restored to 1.1.3 from 1.0.2 and then used ziphone 2.3 to jailbreak, activate and unlock. It works perfectly. Just use ziphone

I used ZiPhone to activate/jailbreak and AnySIM to unlock 1.1.3. Provided that you have a 3.9 bl iPhone, you should obtain the same results with ZiPhone only.
Just do NOT run AnySIM 1.3 if you are on a 4.6 bl.

Well I know it is easier, but is it safer? I still remember the problem that IPSF and old AnySIM had with seczones; that is why I'm asking.

AnySIM 1.3 and ZiPhone unlock feature for bl 3.9 should share the same advantages and disadvantages - just consider that they were released by the same developer, who presumably used the same unlock mechanism in both apps.
As for the disadvantages, they are hard to guess but so far you should not be worried about these apps causing damages to your seczone like the earlier versions of AnySIM (iUnlock etc.).
