Hey just got one of these sitting on my desk

Im not sure how to check what firmware it has, please help

i kno there is something about which week it happens to be, but mine is 87812... so is that week 12?

basically im planning to unlock it so there are no consequences, and so it fully works with all the software, wifi, edge etc...

please help - what is the best way to unlock it? and what firmware is it?

i dont want to open the box and check because if it cant be unlocked properly i will sell it sealed and brand new

EDIT: Okay its a 1.1.4 i presume as its week 12 but i havent got a Mac (just crapy windows) so what method would you guys recommend

you should read through few threads before posting such a useless thread... use iLiberty+ google download, and then after installation just select jailbreak activate and unlock... done unlocked phone ready to use...
