    Wink [1.1.3](1.1.2OTB)1.1.3 FW fake activation

    1.1.3 FW Fake Activation

To all the people with <=1.1.1FW and bootloader 3.9, you are very welcome to try this method since your iphones can be downgraded back to 1.1.1 from 1.1.3 anyway, but, to all the People with 1.1.2 OTB, please dont try this at home!! i am not responsible for turning your iphone into a very expensive itouch. However, if you already have accidentally upgraded to 1.1.3 like i did in the first place, feel free to give it a try though,

    Well, here it goes:

Step 1: Connect iPhone to your PC. Press and hold the power and Home buttons for 15 seconds, until the iPhone turns into its recovery mode. Press Shift and

choose 1.1.1 firmware, after one load, the itune should returns you an error saying error (1), by then, open ibrick, and choose downgrade to 1.1.1, your

iPhone will show a white screen, now your iPhone is ready for the 1.1.1 firmware downgrade.

Step 2: Now you just have to wait patiently, waiting for the restoring process to be finished. Once it's finished, then there will be a little window jump

out and tell you that there is an 1015 error, well, as usual, we will just ignore this error. Now open ibrick, and choose "boot the phone", if the iphone

screen shows a red color, then your restore process has been successful, if it shows green color, then you need to restore again to 1.1.1(personally, i did

it twice in order to get to the red screen).

Step 3: Now you can see the big earth activation screen. Do the normal activation tricks(*#307#), and you will have an iphone of the 1.1.1 firmware, but with

the 1.1.3 modem. Now, go to installer, and install OktoPrep from the Tweaks 1.1.1 catogorize, then install BSD Subsystem, PXL, and SSH from the System

catogorize. now, you are ready to go for 1.1.3 update.

Step 4: Go to iTune, choose "Check for Updates", Shift and choose 1.1.3 firmware. After a few minutes, the 1.1.3 firmware should be finished. Now you should

have a 1.1.3 baseband iphone. From there, the itune won't automatic check the iphone for activation yet, so you can still stay on the 1.1.3 springboard. At

this moment, if you choose not to reboot your iphone, you can stay in the 1.1.3 springboard for as long as you like, and enjoy moving around, playing with

those cute icons, also don't forget to check out the new google map functions.

well, for those people who have 1.1.2 OTB and who have upgraded their iphones to 1.1.3, they can still choose to stay at the 1.1.3 springboard to play around instead of choosing to wait forever for the DEV Team to release a jailbreak method and unlock software.

This is just my way of being able to use the iphone after its been accidentally upgraded to 1.1.3 firmware.

hey, it's better than nothing, right??

all i did was playing around with the downgrading and updating routine, and the 1.1.3 firmware seems to have a little bug when we finished updating.

do u wanna stuck with a nonplayable iphone, or will you choose to experience the new features of 1.1.3 FW as i did??

i know it's old news, but its worth mentioning at this time.
i am pretty sure that the DEV Team comes up with the first jialbreak software from this bug. what do u guys think??
So far, I have unlocked more than 100 1.1.2 OTB iphones and 30 1.1.3OTB iphones.

    Waiting to unlock more iphones.
