[1.1.3 (1.1.2 OTB)] Repair needed , Ziphone/1.1.3 won't help
A month ago I've tried to hw unlock my phone and since then I'm stuck with the stupid repair needed (no matter what I'm trying to do, it won't fix the unknown imei - even 1.1.3 did not fix it).
Now that ziphone is here, I thought maybe this will fix my problem somehow, but apparently it doesn't
I tried almost any combination (from -u to -v -u -a -j...) and so far it won't finish the process . Here comes the part where I hope you'll help me figuring out how to fix my phone (or at assuring the fact that my phone is a total brick ).
Most of the time when I run Ziphone with the -v function, that's what I see on the phone
It seems like something is blocking the process... something is missing? what could I have hurt while opening the phone?!
Ok, some details about my phone:
1.1.2 OTB, week 50+ , was JB and Activated...worked well for some time until I did that stupid mistake (trying to hw unlock it, Lost Wifi, Lost all the files - including the terminal, restored to 1.1.2...1.1.3...etc ). since then i'm stuck in the activation screen in 1.1.1/1.1.2/1.1.3 with the repair needed message. can't go back to 1.0.2 and none of the Ziphone functions seems to work for my poor phone.
Thanks in advance
You will never walk alone - just kidding - I am exactly in the same situation like you are. Ziphone did not help me either. The messages on the springboard after ziphone -v are exactly the same. Just wondering, if we could copy them to this forum (not only a jpg)?
After a new start I get the message:
AppleMRVL868x: Readin EEPROM data
AppleMRVL868x: Invalid calibration data in device tree
BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0
and iphone goes into endless loop

Well, it's always better to be not alone in a trouble, so now I feel much more comfortable
I quite sure the phone is producing some kind of log but I have no idea how to get it, maybe you or someone else with more experience could help us with that?
Another important thing, I've really tried to figure out what exacatly happend to my phone (I suppose it will get me to the solution...).
How did you get to this situation? what exactly did you do on your phone?
Here is exactly what I did:
1. Got the 1.1.2 OTB.
2. JB , Activation
3. HW Unlock try -> created the SSh / V 100 Terminal (didn't upload the file yet -> my internet crashed).
4. opened the phone, reached the modem but lost the wifi (couldn't download the missing file, didn't think back then to upload it using the terminals...).
5. tried to fix the wifi somehow (didn't work)
6. restored (lost the terminal) -> repair needed.
7. 1.1.3 -> still repair needed
8. 1.1.3->1.1.2->1.1.1->1.1.2->1.1.3->.......... ........ ....... ->1.1.3
tried everything including the ziphone, but no cure found yet
edit: btw , when i get to the activataion screen, my phone seems to be darker than usual and it has a few seconds of delay between the touch and the display of numbers on the screen... Had it since that hw night, somehow got rid of it and now it's back (no idea what made it disappear and what brought it back...and how the hell to get rid of it again..)
I can also capture a view of the scrolling command lines but I don't think that will help and it's going really fast....

Our phone is a 1.1.2 ootb. We very early tried to H/W unlock it. On the first guides, the part with installing hyperterminal has been missing. So we followed the guide and lost wifi. Somewhere during the ienue or iunew we got stuck. From then on we got the "repair needed" message.
I have been able to downgrade to 1.1.1 for several times and also could boot the phone - but - as one can imagine - the *#307' trick does not work. Display is darkening and I can dial the number. But if I press the "call" button, nothing is going to happen - so I am suggesting, that baseband has gone.
Question: How can one repair the baseband on a 1.1.2 ootb with 4.6 bootloader, if you cannot dial numbers ??
Finally I am very sure, that we are absolutely not alone with these bricked phones after trying geohots hardware unlock. So anyone outside joining this issue would be very welcome!
OK, exactly the same problem as mine.... I'm still trying new things all the time, but my knowledge and time i can put into this are limited
and yeah, help will be very useful at this point.

I have the same problem but i think i get a step more
Well i put my iphone in 1.1.2 and then use ziphone 2.1
and enter the command ziphone -b
and i get to the screen where it said
Spamming AT,waiting for a response
and with that config
[FTL:WRN] _FTLRestore Ok!
[FTL:MSG] FTL_Open [OK]
But thats the only thing it did
Wish it help you
I think you can see the thing you were telling about on my Iphone too (check the image link from my orig. msg).
