[1.1.3 (1.1.2 OTB)] Jailbroken, but no signal.
I accidentally upgraded an OTB 1.12 to 1.13 via itunes, which became a locked 113 with bb 4.03.13g.
I restored to 1.1.1, boot to recovery, and went to the activations screen.
After which, I jailbroked, and upgraded to 1.12, and jailbroked, and upgraded to 1.13 using Nate's method + installed softupgrade.
After everything, I was left with a jailbroken 1.13 fw with bb 4.03.13g.
Everything worked, most of the applications (most because I havent tried everything), You tube, the wiggling effect. The iphone was responding faster, installer app was working. WIFI and downloading applications thru installer was OK.
I tried to insert X sim / Turbo sim, but no signal came out, only a flat line.
I inserted my local sim (globe telecom), again only a flat line.
I inserted the AT&T sim, again only a flat line.
No Error, such as the "insert with activiated sim" or "incorrect sim error", or "NO SIM" error appeared. Only a flat line at the upper left part of the screen where the signal strength was located.
1. Does this mean I could be on the right track, but missed a patch or application on the end to bring back the signal?
2. Does this mean that the method was wrong from the very start?
I would appreciate everyones help. Thanks.

Hi. Mine is week 47, OTB 1.12 BL 4.6.
Previously, I was running this with X sim. After accidentally upgrading it, the phone got locked.
So in order to jailbreak it, I have to go back to 1.1.1 and use the *#307# method.
After doing so, I was already at the springboard, and all apps were OK.
Thinking that I might be able to regain call and SMS functionality by matching the FW with the BB (which was at 4.03.13g), and using the X sim, i updated, jailbroken, and soft upgraded to 113.
However, when inserting all the x sims, and sims that I have, I am only left with a flat line on the signal strength (which means that the iphone is reading the sim, but not the signal).

You must downgrade not only firmware, but also you 4.03.13g baseband
Add source http://i.unlock.no and select baseband downgrader for 4.03.13g

Thanks for the info, but can you downgrade 4.03.13g if your bootloader is 4.6? 1.12 OTB?

Baseband downgrader only works for 1.1.1OTB or lower...
"...so if you accidently upgraded your OTB 1.1.1 or older it is possible to downgrade."
His is 1.1.2OTB so no go...
Cholo...ur in the same boat with all the other "accidental" upgrades...wait for 1.1.4 firmware...or ***SIM that works with 1.1.3OTB...

Hi there,
I´m in the club too. I had a brand new 1.1.2 OTB 4.6 B.L. and after reading a lot of times I made the Dev Team upgrade, after it finished my springboard restarts each 20 seconds, and after a few restarts the phone came in restore mode. So I leave it there trying to find a reason in the forum. When I came back, my son, try to repair it himself, but the only thing he could do was restore 1.1.3. fw by iTunes, so now I have a f***ing 1.1.3. with 04.03.13g BB.
I wonder if anybody could put these thread as sticky, and put news and any new info about this issue.
Thank you
EDIT: After put this post, I founded this one:
[1.1.3 (4.03.13_G)] *Sim Solutions for latest baseband

I get the same problem with stealhsim, but at the begining, I can see the name of my carrier for just a very little moment, and after that no signal, and no error in screen.
Hope something came out soon for all of us.
Ciao.

Hi Guys,
Try the following:
Baseband trick
1. unload comm centre
2.in minicom
AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000" press enter
OK
AT+CLCK="PN",2
If it returns 0 then your phone has survived this upgrade and you are going to get signal and unlock status back.
3. Launch comm centre, few seconds signal back and sim unlocked again.
The fact wazowski is getting his carrier at just for a moment means that the Phone is reading the SIM as before.
The above commands work fine on IPSF phones upgraded to 1.1.3, they have the same problems you guys are having, they get no signal but when doing the above commands from putty or Terminal, they get a signal until they reboot, then they have to do it again.
I think there may be an app on installer that does it for you automatically but i havnt had time to check it out.
I would of tried this too but i havent had time to update my phone to try it all. If the above doesnt work, then i think that the new baseband is asking for the ICCD more than the 2 times it asked for it prior to 04.03.12_G.
If that is the case, a new sim will need to be developed, on a whole though, the fact that wazowski got his carrier for a moment is very good sign, could anyone else with a Stealth SIM confirm this??

I used a Turbo Sim and X sim, and the same results ... flat bars.
I just spoke with my contacts in China and HK, and they said that they will come out with the new *sim for the 1.13 OTB after the Chinese New year holidays, which is around february 12.
Yes, they confirmed to me that the old sims for 1.12 OTB is not compatble with 1.13 OTB, and they will need to produce a new one for the 1.13 OTB.
Once I get hold of these new sims, I will post the results if they will work.
In the meantime, pspsully's method might be something to look into. However, maybe you can give us a step by step guide on how to do this.
Thanks in advance.
