I have made a lot of changes on my iphone (new folders, change permissions, icons, fixes and so on) trough SCP. In a future software upgrade I will have probably to restore a fresh firmware from Itunes. My question is: when I reconnect the "fresh" iphone to itunes it will ask to restore to previos backup of sync phone or make a new pairing.. in the first case did all my mods done will be restored in the new firmware upgraded phone? thre is another backup software available inmstead of itunes internal backup? Thanks.

I was also wondering that , I'm about to go to 1.1.3 (1.1.1 OTB) but i wanna know if u can save all settings and not only the contacts .

Yes..and I would like to save all my applications and permissions on folders etc.
I was thinking.. but what if I just make a destop folder and copy (with Winscp) all my Iphone folders? If I have to restore I can (after a jaibrake and installed ssh and bsd) just copy all over again? It will work? somebody can express an opinion?
