[1.1.3 (1.0.2)][Problem]["no service" after unlocking, reward 10$]
My problem is, that after complete unlocking version 1.1.3 (jailbreak, activation, unlock) with ZiPhone it still says "no service".
I tried a lot of different unlocks (anysim, etc.) and different fireware but still no solution.
I don't want to open the iphone (hope you understand)
The one who posts the right solution will get 10$.
I hope with this thread I can help others who have the same problem.
Thx

do you have the correct IMEI number reported from settings, general, about ?

No it's a 0049... is this important? I'll try to virginize it.

Since you are at 1.1.3 already.
Try changing your IMEI to the correct IMEI from the back of your iphone by using ziphone and see what happens.
First ever Apple product I bought : iPhone.

@nab7007,
I don't think that will work though....
It was a 1.0.2 and my guess that it was unlocked with iunlock or older methods of soft unlock. That phone need to have the baseband fixed .... Just a thought ...

I agree dtube.I think there is probably a 10% chance that it will fix it.We will know if he tries it.Otherwise we will never know.No harm in trying it I think. He can always virginise.
Even if it does work,it might be temporary or he may have some other issues. It would be better to virginize.

Try to do a ziphone -e then do a deep restorer thru itunes to version 1.1.1. After that do an update with itunes to version 1.1.3, after that do a ziphone -a -j (just activation and jailbreake) then download anySIM 1.3 put the autolock to never, airplane mode on and run anySIM.
You will end with a fully functional 1.1.3 phone.
Cheers.

ziphone -e = erase baseband ....
According to zibri blog, ziphone does not touch the seczone.
The problem with 1.0.2 old unlock method is that seczone is corrupted so that need to be fixed (virginizing).
"Seczone is a data area in the baseband that does not get replaced when the baseband firmware is upgraded" ... therefore the corruption is still there even with upgrade/downgrade baseband.

Thank you all for your help, I really appreciate it!
With ZiPhone GUI you can't change the IMEI, it says that it's disabled (would only be necessary for theves).
I'm still trying to virginize it.
I installed the 1.1.1 fw and passed "boot the phone" with ibrick but then the appsnapp from jailbreakme.com won't work. Had this problem earlier (it worked once after 30 times). Well now I'm still trying.
Another question... after the virginizing process when i install 1.1.3 back again will it mess up my IMEI again?
