1.1.2OTB updated to 1.1.3. Is it possible to downgrade and jailbreak?
Hello all,
yesterday i accidentally updated my 1.1.2 OTB iPhone to 1.1.3. As far as i know, there is no Jailbreak for 1.1.3 while you are on 1.1.3. My question is, is there any way i can downgrade to earlier firmware and jailbreak it there?
Sorry if this question has already been answered, but with a fast search i didn't find a straight answer.
Thanks in advance

If you're on bootloader 3.9 then yes its possible but if your bootloader is 4.6 then your baseband would be updated too. So you got to wait for the next firmware 1.1.4 for jailbreaking.

there is a difference between firmware and baseband downgrade.
If you have an 1.12 OTB Phone, you can still downgrade your iphone firmware and use your iphone as an ipod touch. There are a lot of tutorials here for exactly this case, so just use the search function.
As your bootloader is 4.6, you wont be able to downgrade your baseband and use for example an xsim solution or the hardware BB downgrade. So in order to use the telephone abilitys of your iphone, you have to wait until there is a unlock solution for the 1.1.3 baseband.

Thanx for the fast answers guys!
I'm on bootloader 4.6 because as i said iPhone was an 1.1.2 OTB.
Gregsen can you give me a link of the easiest way to downgrade and jailbreak it?

Thanx for the link ridderdk, but it doesn't have any tutorial on how to downgrade an upgraded to 1.1.3 iPhone. I don't care if i can't use it as a phone. I just want to downgrade it and use it as an iTouch.

On the status document it clearly states, Activation for an upgraded 1.1.2 ootb is not yes possible.
That means, correct me if i'm wrong, you cannot get past the "Activate through Itunes" procedure. But then again, how is it possible to Jailbrake???
I am confused, just like you are!

By the way, 1.1.2 OTB does not need to be BL 4.6, it can still be 3.9 BL. Your biggest problem are (if 4.6), you have upgraded the baseband which means you will not be able to use it as a phone, at least until 1.1.4 comes out, and that's if your lucky.

Not able to upgrade to 1.1.2...
I'm afraid I'm in the same stage as you, Tigran.
I've got a UK Phone 1.1.2 OOTB here. Because I had it bricked at some stage, I upgraded to 1.1.3 cause I read somewhere that would be my only chance to unbrick.
Now I can downgrade to 1.1.1, but the normal procedure with OktoPrep and than upgrade doesn't succeed. Well, to be more acurate,

So I'm kind of stuck here, tried it several times with no seccess.
I think I should add that I have a TurboSIM lying next to my Mac, waiting to be installed...
Any help will be apprecciated, perhaps my information could be helpful for you guys as well.
