    Default 1.1.2OTB software unlock issues

okay, i've tried to software unlock my 1.1.2 OTB with the geohot software unlock method,

what's happen is that i've unloaded the commcenter, run the gunlock, which ran fine, but somehow didnt load the commcenter back up, and switched off the phone,

i now get a message saying that the phone is in need of repair, call apple support.

how would i go about fixing this problem?

    cheers

    Hi,

    Put the Phone into DFU
    Restore Firmware 1.1.2 in Itunes
Should sort the repair needed problem.
    Then downgrade and Jailbreak again
    Follow the instructions.
If you use 1.1.1 firmware to unlock with Gunlock, use the iphone to run the commands or you will lose Wifi and Terminal etc will not work.

If this doesn't help, restore to 1.1.3 in itune, then jailbreak etc as above.

    Cheers

how do i downgrade back to 1.1.1? i put the phone into DFU mode used itunes to restore to 1.1.1, but iBrickr cant kick the phone out of DFU mode, the screen stays green.

    cheers

    Restore again 1.1.1
Then use AppTappInstaller.exe to kick it out of DFU. You may need to download 1.0.2, AppTappInstaller.exe will do that for you.
    Then jailbreak.
    Install BSD, SSH and OKtoPRep
    Gununlock
The hone will be unlocked, but befor eit will work you will need to update to 1.1.2 then jailbreak again.
    Cheers

    Hey!

Having the same problem here. A "Repair Needed" screen appeared.

I tried to Donwgrade to 1.1.1 with Itunes (selecting the 1.1.1 firmware) but error 1011 appeared.

Now I get into the activation screen and I try to jailbreak but the phone is SLOW at entering the numbers... I put *#307# then Call, then erase *#307# and put 0 and Call and nothing happens. The phone is still SLOW and I can still see the Repair Needed message.

Something seem to be broken. I think that if I update to 1.1.3 using the offcial firmware and Itunes it will fix the problem.... but then I wont be able to activate the phone (I live in Spain).

Sooooooo any ideas? I've got a 350 brick right now :'(

    Thanks!

Hi. Instead of using jailbreakme.com. Try adding i.unlock.no to the installer source.
Make sure you are connected to your pc via the usb cable.
