[1.1.2otb] at 1.1,1 weiiird problem
while jailbreaking through ibrikr phone, you know how all these lines start scrolling through the iphone screen? ya well thats what happened except the phone kept rebooting and while the lines are scrolling it reboots again before it is done. i cant connect to itunes i cant connect to ibrkr, i cant enter restore mode.
any ideas? is this phone totally fkd? anybody seen this before?
what is solution for endless reboots? what caused it anyway?
help much apreciated
You need to boot into DFU mode (perhaps during one of the pauses at the beginning of a reboot where the Appl is on the screen instead of the scrolling text), then connect to iTunes and try to manually restore, and then fire up iBrickr and boot it out of recovery. iTunes might not allow a restore, which means that you can boot using iBrickr but your phone is probably fk'd (for now).
You CAN enter restore mode, if you do it right. I'm guessing that you will not be able to load any f/w whilst in restore mode though.
What week is your phone?

Reason: edit: week
Please try the following:
If not already at 1.1.1
1. manual DFU or iBrickr DFU
2. manual iTunes 1.1.1 restore (will get 1011 error)
3. boot the phone w/ iBrickr, but don't do anything else
4. if you have access to the 1.1.1 dialer at that point, then Field Test using *3001#12345#*
5. report results here
If you do have access to the 1.1.1 dialer already, then just 4. and 5.
i had the same problem
