Did you perform this command before?

    Code:
    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
Also, you don't need to use sleep when you are about to run ienew. You only need it when you're going to launch iunew.

    Apple
    sucks.
    Microsoft rules.

    TurboSIM-like methods? No way.

    - Unlocked Week 47 1.1.3 iPhone, baseband 04.04.05_G.
    - Bought in Minneapolis, MN;
    - Currently on TIM carrier.

I'm not here to find help. I'm here to help others and give back what I've learned from Hackint0sh.

it seems that i have a similar problem, if if run ienew i get
    # ienew
    resetting the Baseband...Done
    Opened: /dev/tty.baseband
iEraser for 112OTB: tool by geohot
    waiting for data...
    Can't write

so i stop it with ^C

    # sleep 20; iunew
    resetting the Baseband...Done
    Opened: /dev/tty.baseband
    iUnlocker: tool by geohot
    Modified to erase
Spamming AT waiting for a response

I probably tried 40-50 times, restarted, changed permissions, but nothing
    Please help

    If I run:
    launchctl unload -w /System/Library/...

Then i get this when i launch ienew:

    # ienew
    resetting the Baseband...Done
    Opened: /dev/tty.baseband
iEraser for 112OTB: tool by geohot
    waiting for data...

So the "can;t write" part is gone. Not sure how that is helping though
