[1.1.2 OTB] Weird hang while using SSH to issue "bbupdate -v" and the solution
1.1.2 OTB jailbreaked and upgrade to 1.1.2. Installed with BSD and SSH.
While ssh connection from a computer to the iPhone, running following script:
I got the message
launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
and I just entered "reboot" and press enter. The iPhone didn't reboot but just return to Home screen. So I long press power button, the "Slide to power off" didn't come out. Then I hold down both power and home button for a while and it began to reboot. After that, It just stuck in "spinning silver logo". I had tried every methods to reboot to Home screen but without luck.
Error: Failed to initialize comm layer: (is it open by another app?)
Later, I try to ping the iPhone and found the WIFI still working, so I SSHed into, rerun above script, and I got the normal result this time:
And, the "Big Battary" screen came out, several seconds later, I was able to do normal operations.
pinging the baseband...

eep revision: EEP_REVISION:1
I have no idea why bbupdate -v will failed and cause the stuck "spinning logo" problem. Is a sleep command should be add before bbupdater? I am thinking the problem is possible due to incomplete unload of CommCenter.
If you have the "spinning logo stuck" problem, try to SSH to it, execute and script again, problem may solved.
