[1.1.2 OTB] "Waiting for activation" message after installing SummerBoard
I have an OTB 1.1.2 US phone, downgraded to 1.1.1, activated, jailbroken and updated back to 1.1.2.
Everything works fine (unlock aside...), except for one minor bug: after installing SummerBoard on 1.1.2 I started getting a "Waiting for Activation" message everytime springboard restarts.
Nothing nasty. I can simply click on cancel and the message goes away, but it bugs me to get that pointless message.
A forum search only showed that other people have the same problem, but no solution.
Any ideas?
Thanks...

What sim card is in the phone when you get this message?

I'm having this same issue on my partners iPhone. Anyone else? Any solutions. Currently uninstalled SB to see if the alert still happens.

The solution is easy.
Just remove the AT&T sim from the phone.
Hope this helps

I had the same problem and what i've done is uninstalled summerboard, eventhough it warned me that thrird party may not run correctly, through the install program and then reinstalled it and the message did not show up anymore after the reinstallation and reboot.

Did someone could get this resolved?
I have "formatted" my 1.1.2 OTB IPhone (restore/downgrade 1.1.1, jailbreak, oktoprep, upgrade, jailbreak again) and then installed SummerBoard. This message started to show and even if I remove the ATT sim, in the next boot this message gets back.

i think u messed up the install. i did the same thing before. i did 3 phones in a row and i skipped a step in the guide when it says goto preferences and turn wifi on and then i went right back to the jailbreakme contact and it worked but i kept giving that message. then my youtube stopped working a couple days later. my kids iphones i did the guide way hasnt done this. so i redid my phone the guide way and it doesnt do it no more. i would start over!
