ive been using anysim 1.2.1u from rep.frenchiphone.com and it works with airplane mode on everytime.

ALSO you can try downgrading your baseband with the downgrader in i.unlock.no, downgrade to SW1.1.1, and then run the regular anysim 1.1. see if that solves anything

You might be right. I just assumed.

1.2.1u was in my installer list.

There are three steps to fail:

Start from a clean 1.1.2 restore. Maybe try to do it from a DFU screen.

Use AnySIM1.2.1.u in Airplane mode (not any other version) You should end with a 3.9/4.3.12_G/1.1.1 iPhone that has the "no Service" illness.

After entering the second to last Jailbreak attemp, iTunes will try to synchronize your phone. You should reply NOT to resync your iPhone, but instead create a new iPhone profile. If it syncs to your old iPhone settings you lost your oktoprep. Create a new connection and then Shift-Update to 1.1.2. Follow the guide and I am sure you will get it to work.

Tried all that. Been working on this problem for 20 hours so far.

The anySIM 1.2.1u from the limited edition iphone repository worked for me when the one I downloaded from the iphone dev elite team's site didn't!?

ok I checked and the 1.2.1u version I was using came from modmyiphone.com

I just tried this version. Still fails.

You should take my advice and downgrade the baseband to 3.14 and then restore to 1.1.1 and unlock with the regular anysim 1.1. see if this works.. it might repair whatevers wrong with the baseband.

i only say this because any stupid problems i have like yours i only have in the 4.12, and never in the old basebands.
