1.1.2 OTB with StealthSim -> upgraded to 1.1.3 -> stuck
I accidently upgraded my 1.1.2 OTB to 1.1.3 through iTunes.
I have StealthSim, but after the upgrade, iTunes says "The SIM-card does not appear to be supported...." And now I'm stuck in the "Slide to emergency"-screen.
What to do? If you know, please explain in details, cause I'm not a pro at this (go figure
).

Open itunes, connect your iphone to your computer
Press together "hold button" and "main screen button" until the screen turns black
Release the "hold buttom", but still press the main screen button
After a few seconds, itunes said to you that you have to resture your iphone, but the screen stills black

No, the screen isnt black, it's the screen with the cable and the iTunes logo.
iTunes tell me it's in restore mode, i press shift + restore, choose 1.1.1 restore file, then i get the error message in iTunes.
Is it because i have a foreign SIM card in the phone (StealthSim is also in the phone)?

Mann
With 1.1.2 OTB or 1.1.3 OTB, 1.1.2 Jail and 1.1.2 jail and up to 1.1.3...
If you get stuck in .... First restart your PC (Mac users i do not know)
Then Put your Iphone in DFU Mode
Start I tune, but kill first ItuneHelper and Ipod services...
Then restore with "iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw" that Firmware (Twice)
Then Go for "iDemocracy2" with update "iDemocracy Update (2.0.3)"
or try the "ibrickr_v0.91"
then upgrade to "iPhone1,1_1.1.2_3B48b_Restore.ipsw" and then to 1.1.3
Alternative way (i did not tried yet) is to update from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 with the use of "ibrickr-jb113"
as you can acces to the phone you can try the "jailbreakme" method or "i.unlock.no" by typing *#307# - delete then type 0, the answer, then hold, then decline, go to contact, create 1 contact with (2 or 3) web addresses
prefs://1f
jailbreakme.com
i.unlock.no
Save....clik on prefs....select your WiFi network, back to general ....disable autolock (set to never) back to the home, dial 0, call, answer, put on hold, then decline, go to contact, press on "jailbreakme".....
( for all that have already install previous "x sim" i recommand to virginize the Iphone.... and redo the process before using the "God" George Hotz uou will find tuto and link on iClarified).
Hope will help....
Good luck .

You have to use ibrick to go out of restore mode and try again
