Hi friends,

I tried to downgrade the BL and while have bad conditions, I did some mistakes and now I'm stuck - hopefully someone here will be able to help me...

anyway, that's what happend.

I had a working, activated and jailbreaked iphone (1.1.2 otb). I decided to try downgrading the BL.... I did all the preparations (used this guide http://iphone.unlock.no/bootloader_downgrade.htm) beside :
"Bootloader downgrade" found in the Unlocking Tools category .

Just when I got to that point, my Wifi internet crashed.

first mistake: I decided to start opening the phone although i wasn't ready. I opened the phone and after reaching the BB (physical access), I went back the the phones' interface to try completing the preparations but when then I found out that I already get the "repair needed" error message and no wifi (since then... ).

second mistake : I tried to restore the phone in order to fix it, but instead of fixing it, I lost all the programs I prepared (terminal bsd etc..) and not only that, I also from that point, could activate the phone anymore since i couldn't make any call or receive (that's what the stupid error message was).

I thought maybe downgrading to 1.0.2 will solve it but I can't do it (getting stuck on "waiting for iphone"...).


now I can't use 1.1.2 / 1.1.1 (can't make calls...) and i can't go back to 1.0.2 - anyway, not using the regular methods. I think i heard 1.1.3 is supposed to fix my problem, but then I won't be able to hack it right? (not until 1.1.4 will be released anyway...?).

Is there a way to save my Iphone?
what do you recommend to do?
what are my options?
what is supposed to happen if I'll upgrade it directly from the itunes (original 1.1.3)

Add to all the problems the fact that now Itunes won't regonize the sim.....

Please note the i.unlock.no BOOTLOADER downgrade was meant for 1.1.1 firmware only. if you did it in 1.1.2 it will fail for sure.

So now you can try the following, but most likely, you are stuck.
Reboot phone + computer, get into restore mode
use ibrikr to kick phone into DFU
use itune to restore to 1.1.2 TWO times
repeat but this time restore into 1.1.1 TWO times
kick the phone out of restore

see if your screen is back

if its still not back....sorry your only choice is to go 1.1.3, then downgrade to 1.1.1 to use the phone as an itouch.

Is it atucally supposed to fix the repair needed message (upgrading to 1.1.3?)?
will I be able to use any hardware solution then? (turbosim etc...?).

isn't there a way to do it without upgrading to 1.1.3?!? ]


btw, I did go to 1.1.1 before starting the bl downgrade....but i still did the stupid mistakes (and my unstable internet cable company contributed its part to the mess...)

If you did follow the instructions i had and your screen is not back, then you are stuck for good now until someone else makes another breakthough

turbosim will not work with 4.6BL phones with 113 baseband at the moment.

OK, i'll try the restoring X 4 thing......although I'm pretty sceptic about it seems like i got F******* - big time


btw, is it possible to downgrade 1.1.2 otb to 1.02 ? ....how?

I don't know why, but I can NOT restore the phone anymore...getting 1011 error.
tried restarting the computer, reinstalling Itunes, doing it on a different computer, with firmware 102,111,112,113 - nothing helps....!!!

my phone seems to be totally dead...is there any way to fix it now?
