No way with itunes 7.3.2.6 in windows, too.
When I tried to downgrade to 1.0.2, iTunes stay in "Waiting for iPhone" forever.
In iPhone, I see the apple logo, in black background....

Any other idea to downgrade to 1.0.2???

i believe this means one of 2 things
eather you have had Itune with haigher version installed on that Pc before and you have uninstalled it and installed the 7,3,2 itune and this does not work because the itune leaves files in the windows thats why i told you to go to a new PC
or you did not put the phone in the DFU mode
to put it in the DFU mode
press both the home and power bottons till the screen goes black and wait for 2 sec
release the power pottun only and keep on the home bottun pressed until the phone gets detected in itune in recovery mode then release the home bottun

What version of iTunes you have used?
I'm testing with 7.3.2.6, and iTunes not detect iPhone in DFU Mode...
But in iTunes 7.6 in my Mac, shows that it is in Recovery mode....
