It's not because of his nickname per se, it's just because this Rahul guy has totally been off the radar screen of the iphone community until now. That kinda hurts one's credibility, you know...

What's also confusing is the 'If you like my work help me' and a donation button. Kinda odd if you see that the only thing on that blog is that post claiming free software unlock tomorrow.
yeah if he posts a software based unlock......its good.......otherwise who cares
we are not paying him any money

Do you see what I mean? George never said that. He
never said he thinks now the unlock of 1.1.2 OTB is possible.
What I meant to say is that people keep putting words in his mouth. And with this thread now, all Hackint0sh newbies are going to go crazy!

It is a fact that the elite team has been sitting on a software-based bootloader downgrader for quite sometime now. And it was only a matter of time for a release.

Sounds good - just in time for the 16GB iphone maybe lol
Man - its been a great two weeks for us iphone people, so many releases|!!
Regardless of all this bickering between teams and individuals etc I truly appreciate all the efforts and it looks like soon Apple will haev to go back to the drawing board if the bootloader downgrade is true!!
Rock on!

Locked, why would they hush-hush it? Was it Apple or x-sim manufacturers with seven-figure donations?

Now they say can S/W unlock BL4.6. After the damages done to the case for H/W unlock. Well atleast it can be done. Well done DEVS. Maybe they have their own reason to keep it soooooooo long.

Dear Locked
Does this mean that so far, there is no way to "break" the BL 4.6, and that all solutions are spinning around the 3.9 BL.
If so, then does anybody have an idea if someone is working on it?
Regards.
