Default [1.1.2 OTB][Question]Is software downgrader possible?

Just wondering is it possible to downgrade the bootloader by software only for 1.1.2 OTB iphones?

Because what I have been waiting for so long is actually a bootloader downgrader rather than unlock-only-but-no-bootloader-downgrading solution. I always feel insecure with this sick 4.6 bootloader as it is always a one-way-street. Now the hardware unlock is out and the result looks promising - bootloader downgrading is finally achievable. But if a software bootloader downgrading solution is possible, I'd try to be more patient and don't risk opening my iphone now. But if software only bootloader downgrading is entirely NOT possible at all, I then won't wait any longer and try my luck and guitar pick.

Can someone give me some authoritative answer over this? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your advice, but I have read the sticky posts several times already.

Maybe I'm not stating this very clear, but what I mean is: In theory, is it there any possibility to downgrade the 1.1.2 OTB bootloader via software-only means? I've read geohot and zibri's blogs, geo said "downgrading the bootloader from software is out of the question." but zibri is betting that "a software unlock of 1.1.2 ootb IS INDEED POSSIBLE and IT WILL BE DONE." So I intend to believe that zibri is close to find a software unlock solution for the 1.1.2 OTB iphones. But he never says it is a software bootloader downgrader or a unlock-only-but-no-bootloader-downgrading-thing. And this is the question that no one seems having answered and this is what I am bringing out here.

I think what they´re trying to tell (in a bit too rude way imho ) is that there´s no possible "authoritative" answer for your question.

You saw geohot stating it was hardly possible, and another dev member team stated later that it should be possible. And they both have "authority"

So it´s you who gotta make the decission of going for the H/W unlock, or keep waiting.

    Regards ^^
