why can't we just talk about it?

maybe readers like me want this thread to stay open so it gives us something to read and hope for

i can tell people to read the stickies too, but i'm not about to do it when someone is obviously just looking to talk

I also like to talk about it, but i make the best of bad bargain on the fact that there will not be a sw unlock solution. It looks like the only way to get access is to find the encryption key. I read in another thread, that with 100 pc´s it will take 317 years to calculate it. And you know nobody wants to wait for so long on it.:p Even in a few years there will be a new phone on the macworld present with the name "SkyPhone" or "iPhone Air" or perhaps with the name "Steve Jobs impregnable castle iPhone":p :p :p

You see the problem here is that some of us do patiently follow the thread/stickies before clicking on "new thread". And we hopw the others do the same too because that makes it a cleaner forum. With the clutter that is being created by "is software downgrade possible?" threads, I am scared I'll miss an announcement thread by a dev team that it is infact posible, if it is.

So the short answer to your question is, mate we are all waiting for it and it hasnt happened yet. Also, I can see a sticky right there which says "Frequently Asked Questions/ 1.1.2 Information!/ Important Links ". Isnt it clear enough what this sticky would have??

And yes, the mods/dev team would update the sticky rather than individually posting in all your threads.

So stop, relax, and as jumphopspin pointed out, RTFS (you know what it means right).

Its a weird thing to see, that most useless post in this thread come from jumphopspin, that claims he wants to keep the forum clean and nice to read. RTFS. I think anyone not retarded would know the difference between a software-unlock and software-bootloader-downgrader.

So it says INFORMATION, as containing FACTS and INFO, forum is also meant for discussion, but unfortunately it seams impossible on this forum. If you want this topic deleted so hard, why do you keep reading/spamming it? Keep the stickies with facts, let others discuss possibilities in regular topics.

Too bad that this topic went really wrong way, it could have turned to a interesting discussion.
