You are making it way too complicated ...

When you are done. the phone should show the cd+cable. That's the way it is OTB.
You don't need to run 1.1.2 jailbreak or anything.
now you put phone in recovery mode then run ziphone -a -j -u. It should take care of everything for you. Try ziphone 2.0. I've use all versions of iphone since 2.x and they all worked in command line as I described.
btw: if using 2.0, then need to add -v as well

They have all worked for me before also.. this is the only one I have had problems with..
ok.. tried with 2.3 ran like it should.. booted the phone.. but the screen is freezed... cant do anything like before.. trying to restart it with and without the cable like I did before..
But now Itunes doesnt recognize it..
still freezed.. dont really know why.. could it be hardware since I could get it to work earlier?
another interesting thing is that when Ziphone finishes.. the phone stays off... so I have to kickstart it by pressing home and power button.
Also, the first time it is started it is still not jailbroken.. but when I force it to restart again, it suddenly is..

i really want to help you with this but I have no idea what you did, how you did it and why ziphone is giving you so much grief.
Can you list out exactly every step you did starting with a freshly DFU restored phone. I know it sounds redudant and silly but may be we can pick out something for you.
And please, on post #2:
"Also, please change the subject to the right format otherwise your post will get deleted. Read the sticky on why my post is deleted."

I cant change it.. tried.. but only appears on my first post..
1. DFU restored
2. Kicked it into Normal mode with Ziphone to check if it was frozen before ziphone.. it was! I could see the animation on the slider for a split second, and then it froze.
3. Check it with Itunes. and it couldnt because of unsupported SIM
3. Jailbreaked and activated the phone..since the unlock was already done.
4. the phone restarted as it should. but it was still frozen.
1. DFU restored
- what version
2. kicked into normal mode with ziphone ???
- what you do mean by that?. Once the phone is DFU restored. It is normal. You don't need ziphone to kick it into normal mode
3. Check with itunes .... the unsupported sim is normal. As long as itunes can see the phone that's mean your connectivity is good.
4. How did you JB + ACT? List out exact steps.
You said unlock was already done .... Well, which baseband version did you unlock?.

Itunes saw the phone.. but couldnt see what version it was or diskspace
I used ziphone -a -j to jailbreak the phone. it was 4.13 basedband. because for some reason Ziphone has forced a bootloader downgrade on the phone.. it was 4.6 earlier 3.9 now.
Damaged bootloader maybe?
because when I have it jailbroken Itunes cant recognize it anymore, could before..
right now I have it freshly restored again. And Itunes can see it, but not version, capacity and so on.
When in "normal" freeze mode... the phone restarts on its own after about 10 minutes..
