Hey, I'm at the step to jailbreak my 1.1.2 OTB iPhone. I couldn't get APPTAPP to install the first time, so I restarted the process. When I get to the part where I enter "prefs:" as a URL, I get stuck at a very strange error.

When trying to type in colon, I press the "alternative keys" button which shows up as "_123" and the only options I have for keys are "_" "-" and "+".

I hope this is a common problem and someone can lend some advice!

Nevermind, the answer was that I didn't dial "1" afterwards.

Also, for those having trouble with APPTAPP installing, I got it working by connecting my phone to iTunes (finally did this on the fifth try).

that worked for me too (connect to iTunes to jailbreak).

don't know why... but it works.
