[1.1.2 OTB] Problem, erratic battery behavior
I have a 1.1.2 that I did a HW unlock. It was working fine for several weeks. I updgraded to 1.1.3 and ziphone to unlock and then the problem began.
Now the battery behavior is very erratic. It will go empty very quickly and then reset and shut down. It will recharge in minutes and the battery will display a full charge. But then it will be fully discharged again in minutes. If the phone is in sleep and a call comes in , when the call is answered the phone will shut down and power off like the battery is dead. But if I plug it into a charger for a moment and then disconnect it , it will be display fully charged.
I have rechared if fully over night and it will still discharge in a very short time period. I dont think it is really charging and discharging this quickly as it is physically impossible to discharge and charge a battery this quickly. It is more likely and issue with the battery meter or some other SW problem.
I have DFU and restored to 1.1.4 and Ziphone again to unlock, but still have the same problem.
I have installed Sysinfo and dont see any unusual apps running.
I have read every thread on the topic I can find and see know solutions. If anyone has an idea your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I have the exact same problem as you but instead, I have a 1.1.4 OTB unlocked with pwnedtool 1.1.
I totally agree with you regarding being a problem with the battery meter and not with the battery itself.
Do you found any solution to your problem ?
There is speculation that upgrading the bootloader to 4.6 via bootnueter improves the battery. Maybe u want to give it a try. I have tried this, but it didnt work for me.
