ALright guys I'm doing this as I'm writing, I have a OTB 1.1.2 , the moment the unlock was released I did it within hours through putty, I have no issues wit the phone so far,I did it on 1.1.1, with bb of 1.1.2, again I had 4.2.13 on it when the unlock was done . I have just finished Updating to 1.1.3 through itunes,
one good news is that I inserted a non att sim into it and it did not say anything like incorrect sim, (which usually happened earlier),also bb updated to 4.3.13,now downgrading to 1.1.1

i have my phone unlocked with geohot ipsf 1.1.3 and i tried restoring it via itunes.
Results it was locked. i needed to downgrade it to 1.1.1 then oktoprep to 1.1.2 then upgrade to 1.1.3 via dev tem realease and finally i copy signal.app and signal.plist to their corresponding folders with permission AND.. nothing still locked. i needed to revert the unlock then unlock it again and thats how i got unlocked again i dont know what restore resistant means by now

it shouldnt work, gunlock patches 04.02.13.fls exactly with same method anysim is using, so after you update to new BB unlock is gone, ofc i didnt try since i dont have bl4.6 phone, but just as far as i saw....
edit: btw if you want to try fast without long proces to restore 1.1.3 then downgrade 1.1.1, blabalbla... just use bbupdater nad flash with 04.03.13 fls/eep while you are on 1.1.3 softupdate with 04.02.13 BB

I just restored to 1.1.3 and then downgraded to 1.1.1 and tried the AT+XSIMSTATE=1 and it results in a locked state output 1,1 it seems that this is not upgrade resistant, I had to unlock again and now I'm updating back to 1.1.3 , I guess what geohot is saying is we need to patch the bootloader for a ipsf style unlock! which might come in the near future!

can someone explain why the secpack command failed so many times ,or is this normal?

Shame. Wish he'd worded things more clearly so we didn't get our hopes up! Thanks a lot for trying.

Guys,
Ok Guys, i believe you guys are getting stuff mixed up
First of all Get your phone unlocked first using GeoHot method
Downgrade via "Restore", 1.1.1, JB, OkPrep, BSD Sub, VT-Term, Airplane Mode On
Unlock via Geohot Method, then make sure you restore airplant mode off
Upgrade to 1.1.2. Now you have an unlocked 1.1.2 with 04.02.12 BB and BL 4.6 Patched
above is a normal process for unlocking and is confirmed.
In order to test to see if it is upgrade resistant " YOU DO NOT WANT TO RESTORE to 1.1.3" , you want to "UPGrade" to 1.1.3. Restore process cleans up everything, probably undo a lot of GeoHot'z Method, probably rewrite BB and BootLoad since it checks all integrity points. So i don't know why people keeping on RESTORING to 1.1.3 when they should just "upgrade" to 1.1.3. We're testing to see if the unlock is "UPGRADE RESISITANT" not "RESTORE RESISTANT"
Now, we have things cleared up.
Then Upgrade to 1.1.3 to get the Baseband to 04.03.12 from 04.02.12, Downgrade to 1.1.1, JB, OKtoPrep, then "upgrade" to 1.1.2, and JB via java jailbreakme.com.
Remember. you now have an JB 1.1.2 with Bootloader 4.6 patched from the unlock. but the BB is 04.03.12. In order for the phone to work again. You have to be back to 1.1.3 plus you want to able to use installer APP. So I would recommend to do a Softupdate Via Offfice dev-team 1.1.3-3 softupdate to get back to 1.1.3 now you have a JB and unlocked 1.1.3 with BB 04.03.12 and BL 4.6 patched still.
Post your feed back on this, Mine works i have att sim but i don't have an non-ATT sim to test

It is clearly states that it patch with 4.02 bb fls..
and the only 4.03 patch is for BL3.9..
Thus 1.1.2/1.1.3 are stuck with 4.02 bb right now.
