[1.1.2 OTB] Maybe there is an unlocking solution!
    READ IT

I never had an 1.1.2 OTB iPhone and therefore there was no need to try any existing S/W or H/W solution.

However, I tried to officialy upgrade my 1.1.1 OTB iPhone to 1.1.3 via iTunes and successfuly managed go back to 1.1.1 by downgrading the Baseband and reunlocking it with anySIM.

If by officialy upgrading to 1.1.3 via iTunes, there is also an upgrade to Bootloader and Baseband, I suggest that this method could work for an 1.1.2 OTB iPhone.

If someone at the iDevTeam or any other team has already tried this method on a 1.1.2 OTB iPhone, please negatively or positively confirm in order not to have any bricked phones...

Do not try this method if you are not experienced with all of these things or you don't know what are you doing

i dont think the bootloader is upgraded during an itunes [iphone] update. i think if you have 3.9, it will stay at 3.9. im sure the dev team or someone else have tried this before.

    however i may be wrong.

They are by no means lamer's mate. Posters like this should be working for NASA. Very smart indeed.

You know, I have been on these forums for about 6 months now and have only started posting in the last few days. I have read, understood and experimented with all the authoritative ideas floating around here. I now have the knowledge to understand everything that I read here before posting. And, honestly, I don't think that people should post without first finding out (reading) from some source or the other , the answers to their questions.

I am of the opinion that posts like this are accumulating the detritus on Hackint0sh.org and making it difficult to sift through the threads for useful information.

I agree with many members now, that the moderators should set up a section for newbie posts. and maybe one for developer updates which should have strict posting rules.

I love these forums, but things are getting hectic now with all the misleading thread titles and wannabe NASA geniuses that don't know the difference between a baseband and a bootloader.

Oh, and one more thing... maybe some kind member with time on his hands could write an iPhone hackers glossary and the mods could make it sticky with the words:

"Do not post until you understand the terminolgies in this thread!"

    Thanks mate...

I didn't reply at cosmoLV's post myself and generally at posts like this, cause I think people are intelligent enough understand the quality of the writer who posts such messages...

    Thanks again.
