[1.1.2 OTB] Jailbreakme "Install AppSnapp" doesn´t reboot.
I read many suggestions on the forum, tried all of them many times each, without success.
Always got the same result: After tapping "Install AppSnapp", the phone back very fast to the "slide for emergency" screen and no re-start occurs.
Someone said when the phone back to that screen, if you dial 0 ... bla bla bla.. you´ll see the progress of instalation. I did this, but nothing was shown except the "contacts screen".
I tried with Itunes 7.6, Itunes 7.5, without Itunes. I also removed the encryption of the wi-fi network. Nothing seems to help.
Did Somebody face the same problem ?
I think the only different thing I am using is my pc with a wi-fi USB device acting as the "wireless router".
I appreciate suggestions,
Thanks

It sometimes took me upwards of 10 tries, but always worked in the end. Make sure autolock is set to never. Try rebooting your phone. I've always had the best luck with the phone connected to iTunes.
As a last restort, try restoring 1.1.1.

Autolock is set to never.
I already tried to restore again to 1.1.1. Also tried to restore to 1.1.2 and after that downgrade to 1.1.1 again.
Manual reboot was done. No joy.
I tried more than 20 times at all...

Or you could play repetedly with the unlock slider. The point is to keep the phone busy, wich itunes does.
It took me forever to figure this out the first time.
Reboot your computer and start itunes, connect the phone, jailbreak and when it jumps back to the slide screen, play with the slider.
Strange thing is that I have unlocked these bastards before, and never had to do it. It was no problem jailbreaking when not connected to the computer. But since the HW hack, it doesn't seem to work that way. (mayby I'm just delusional, who knows.)
Good luck.

you could just go into your Iphone as well during the installation ... I did it a couple of times and suddenly you will see a splash screen that says ... installing blablabla and it will reboot automatically

Simply... open itunes on your pc or mac...
then open appsnapp site (jailbreakme.com)
and then connect the iphone at your computer and very fast press the install appsnapp
et voilà max 15 sec and iphone will reboot in jailbreak mode!
Have fun
