Just jailbreak it and put some "X"Sim it´s a Phone so yyou must use it as a Phone!

I have a 1.1.2 OTB with 4.6 bootloader and decided not to wait for an unlock! So I downgraded, jailbroke, activated, upgraded, jailbroke and activated again in order to install my stealthsim! And all is working fine! I'm just to impatient

There is NO reasonable explanation for not jailbreak it and use as itouch until a software unlock comes out... As EVERYTHING you do (downgrade, jailbreak,activate) can be UNDONE... So don't be afraid to do it

If you open itunes and RESTORE to 1.1.2 you will undo everything and it will be back to factory status. (i'm talking about otb-1.1.2 here)

The option to buy or not a x-sim hardware solution (like turbosim) is a very personal one.I would wait a few more days if you didn't buy it yet, things may happen this week.

But if you are in such a hurry it is a good option.

One of the main reasons I weant for the hardware solution (xsim) was because of the warranty! AFAIK the software unlock violates the apple warranty and the xsim doesn't! If there's a problem with the phone, you just remove the sim and take it back to the store!

... just to play it totally safe: can one do the whole process an infinite (well, kinda :p ) number of times or...?
