    Default [1.1.2 OTB] jailbreaking problems

Quick not for those having problems running 1.1.2 jailbreak software even after OKTOPREP was successfully installed:
I tried to jailbreak 2 iphones for the past 2 hours, and after 7times of downgrading and upgrading, ive finally got it working. The phones are fw: 1.1.2. Baseband 04.02.13_G, weeks 46 and 50.
I followed many tutorials to the LETTER in the hopes that i was missing something, mainly the one from Iclarified which alot of people seem to be recommending (something i noticed while trolling through posts)
    http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=455

One thing that's NOT mentioned in that tutorial (and a few others) is that if you DONT INSTALL Bsd Sub and OpenSSH from installer while at 1.1.1, you'll receive an error message after you upgrade to 1.1.2 and try to run the jailbreak software (windows.bat) that Oktoprep needs to be installed.
I dont care how many people will comment that it worked for them, ive tried this process 7 times (counted each freaking time i upgraded and downgraded ) and it NEVER worked without bsd sub and openssh installed.
As soon as i installed them worked like a charm.

    hope this helps somebody.

    Thanks Shiz1,

I'm having the same problem on my US OOTB 1.1.2 week 48 FW 04.02.13_G, BaseBand BL4.6

Your suggestion hasn't worked the Mac Jailbreak.zip that I am useing yet.

    I'll try again.

    Thanks for the post!

My problem was that I was pushing ALT+Restore (like before 1.1.3 came out) instead of ALT+Update. It makes a big difference!

If anyone is having this problem (OktoPrep disappearing after upgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2) Downgrade back to 1.1.1, jailbreak install OktoPrep (like you did twenty times already) and be sure that you use ALT+Update to chose the restore file for 1.1.2 when doing the upgrade to 1.1.2 from 1.1.1.

    This worked for me.
    OOTB 1.1.2 USA, Week 48, Firmware 04.05.04_G,
Mac OS, using in Germany, 1und1 with: Vodafone.
Status: Updated to 2.1 (5F136) with PwnageTool and BootNeuter, Everything is working
