[1.1.2 otb] jailbreak.jar
has anyone encountered the error "unable to run as this software requires installing oktoprep before upgrading to 1.1.2". i get this message when i tried to go from 1.1.1 up to 1.1.2 and tried using jailbreak .r to free my iphone

you need to downgrade to 1.1.1 and run oktoprep and then update to 1.1.2 again. you will be able to jailbreak afterwards.

Did you jailbreak 1.1.1? did you then install oktoprep from "installer: under tweaks 1.1.1"? did you then click restore or update to 1.1.2?

all i asked for was a bit of help, obviously i did all that prior to trying to run jailbreak.jar as i have a 1.1.2 otb....sheeesh

I had the same issue. The problem was actually restoring 1.1.2 instead of updating from 1.1.1. When you do a restore, it fully wipes all your old stuff, so you must upgrade instead of restoring from 1.1.1. Let me know if this helps.

thanks kaf , i already got it fix, install bsd and ssh and upgrade rather than install now im waiting for my sim. thx. mod pls change to solved.
