[1.1.2 OTB] Jailbreak
The below is from http://www.iphonehack4life.tk/
Why does this step specify separate installation of BSD and SSH when other tutorials (iClarified) seem to omit this step?
Step 3: Prepare your 1.1.1 device for the Update
1. Launch Installer.app
2. Scroll down to Tweaks (1.1.1)
3. Select OktoPrep
4. Click Install
5. Go to all apps, and install BSD Subsystem.
6. Go to all apps and install SSH.
If you won't install BSD Susbsystem and SSH, then when you get to run the windows.bat or jailbreak.jar, it will be as if you never run octoprep
I've tried this TWICE. Install bsd and ssh and save your self some time.

last time i updated to 1.1.2 i only installed oktoprep and jailbreaking 1.1.2 was no problem at all. but many people report issues with oktoprep not being installed although they did that AND did a valid UPDATE to 1.1.2 (not a RESTORE, as many mistakenly still do)..... for THOSE this might be a good hint.
iPhone US W46 OTB 1.1.2
-> fully restored to 1.1.3 with iTunes
-> fully unlocked to carrier blau.de with ZiPhone
