I held back the latest installer update on 1.1.2 cuz i read several problem threads reguarding the latest version on jb 1.1.2 otb phones

So today, when i refreshed my sources i accidently tapped tge wrong button at the update popup. well at first everything seemed to work, but then i realized that i dont have any more sound on the phone speakers. Its working normally with headphones tho.

Just if i unplug (not switched silent mode) there is no lock clicks, no ipod music and no app/game sounds. The only thing that works is when i alter the ribgtobe volume in preferences, then i can hear my ringtone.

Prolly messed up sound prefs through installer update?

I hope someobe has a fix at hand

Try cleaning the headphone jack with a cue tip, I had the same problem. Speakers on the bottom of the phone worked if I was in speakerphone mode or if I was playing a ringtone.

tried that, didnt seem to help, however i think i fixed it doing this:

• Insert headphones
• Open ipod & play a song
• Slide volume to zero
• Took headphines out
• Slided volume back up and there was the sound again on the speakers

I could of course have possubly cleaned my headphone jack through this, but that i cannot verify. However i put headphones in and out a lot and it never changed a thing previews the last procedure.

I have the same problem and it's has to do with the update also. Bellow speakers are working fine but the front one isn't.....

got it working, updated to 1.1.3 with the dev teams jailbreak, and got the same, but after i inserted the headphones like three times and it returned to normal operation (got out of headphones) profile. i suggest you try that. hope it helps.
